wHat Is a CompuTeR????

There's is more about computer. Lets us go and find out!!!

Over time computers became more and more powerful, with the introduction of the ubiquitous microprocessor driving forward development. Gordon Moore, one of the co-founders of Intel, invented Moores law, which predicted that the number of transistors that could be placed on integrated circiut inexpensively doubled every 2 years. This law has held true to a certain degree, and it can be seen in motion every day with the introduction of more & more powerful microprocessors and larger hard drives and memory modules.Among the notable computers of the history are the ENIAC, Altair 8000, Commodore 64, Macintosh and IBM-PC.

Among the other types of the modern computers are the:
1) The Supercomputer
2) MainFrame
3) Workstation
4) The Personal Computer/PC
5) Microcontroller
6) The Server

ENIAC, Altair 8000, Commodore 64, Macintosh and IBM-PC. The Supercomputer, Mainframe, the personal computer/PC, microcontroller, and the srever are among the types of the modern computers. Some examples of the hadrware and the software of the computers today are the podcast, the hardware. softwareand the firmware. The basic operations of a normal computer are the input, output, processing, storage and the external resourses. The names for the different sizes of the data for the computer are the Bit, Byte. KB, MB, GB, TB, and the PB. Measurements for the data speed are included too which are known as Bps. Kbps, Mbps, and Gbps.

That't all for the "What is A computer?"

Sounds Good.......

Lets heard from this.
In computing, an operating systems(OS) is an interface between hardware and user, which is responsible for the management and coordination of activities and the sharing of the resources of a computer, that acts as a host for computing applications run on the machine. One of the purposes of an operating system is to handle the resourse allocation and access protection of the hardware. This relieves the application programmers from having to manage these details.

Among the operating systems types of computers known are the GUI, Multi-user, Multiprocessing, Multitasking and the Multi threading. The GUI contains graphics and icons and is commonly navigated by using a computer mouse. The Multi-user system allows multiple users to use the computerat the same time or different time. The Multi-processing system's capable of supporting and utilizing more than one computer processor. The Multi-Tasking too allows multiple software processes to run at the same time. Besides that, the Multi-Threading allows different parts of software program to run concurrently. The operating systems that fall into this category are the Linux, Unix, and the Windows 2000.

Follow up the next posts! Bye Bye!

ComPUTer ParTs & cOmpoNEnts

Did you hear before CPU? I guess all of you sure heard before but don't know what its stands for! Do you know what is the functions and where is it situated the computers? In this posts, let me introduced the COMPUTERS PARTS & COMPONENTS.........

The primarily two mains size of the computers are
- portable-desktop

The portable computer comes in various size and are referred to
-laptops

-notebooks

-hand-held computers

These generally denote different sizes, the laptop being the largest and the hand-held is the smallest. The document mainly talk about the desktop computer although portable computers issues are also dicussed in various areas.

Among the basic components of the computer are the:

-CPU (Central Processing Unit)

-RAM(Random Access Memory)

-Hard Drive

-Case

-Video Card

-Speakers
-Sound Cards

-CD-Burner or DVD/CD Burner

-Modem

-Ethernet Card

-power supply

-the motherboard

I think that's all from me.Bye Bye!!!!!!!!
